Test your connection to the cloud.

Run a quick internet speed test, check latency and jitter to AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365 and Teams, and see how ready your line is for Teams calls, all in your browser with nothing stored.

Speed

How fast is your connection?

Download, upload and ping, measured live.

Latency

How close are you to the cloud?

Round-trip latency and jitter to the big providers, by region.

Cloud latency by region

Round-trip latency & jitter to AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365 and Teams across the UK, EU and US.

Real-time

Are you ready for Teams calls?

A focused jitter test that rates your likely call quality.

Teams call-quality & jitter test

Samples a Microsoft Teams endpoint 20 times to gauge the latency and jitter that make or break real-time calls.

How to read these numbers

  • These are indicative, browser-based readings. They're a quick health check, not an SLA-grade measurement.
  • Latency is measured to the nearest edge or point-of-presence for each service, not a specific datacentre. The AWS regional endpoints give the clearest cross-region comparison.
  • It's HTTP timing, not an ICMP ping, so latency reads a little higher than a raw ping (it includes DNS and TLS). That's normal.
  • The speed test measures throughput to the nearest Cloudflare edge. That's a fair proxy for your real internet speed, though your provider's own test may differ slightly.
  • Wi-Fi, VPNs, proxies and browser caching all affect results, so run a test twice and compare.
  • Ad-blockers or privacy extensions may block some cloud domains; those show as “Filtered” rather than a real reading.

What this means for you

Slow, jittery cloud access is usually fixable

If your speed, latency or jitter to Microsoft 365 and Teams is poor, it's rarely something you have to put up with. The right connectivity makes the cloud feel local.

Faster, more reliable links

A business-grade leased line gives you dedicated, symmetric bandwidth with low latency and a real SLA, a world away from contended broadband. For multi-site organisations, SD-WAN routes traffic intelligently across links so cloud apps always take the best path.

Resilience and round-the-clock eyes

Pair your primary link with resilient backup connectivity so an outage doesn't stop work, and let our 24×7 Network Operations Centre watch your connectivity continuously, catching problems before your team feels them.

Questions

About these tools

Three things: your internet speed (download, upload and ping), the latency and jitter from your connection to AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365 and Teams across UK, EU and US endpoints, and a focused Microsoft Teams call-quality check. Everything runs in your browser.

It's a solid indication. We measure real throughput between your browser and the nearest Cloudflare edge, which is a fair proxy for your usable internet speed. Results can vary with Wi-Fi, other devices using the line, VPNs and the time of day, so run it a couple of times. For a definitive, line-side measurement your provider's tools or a managed test are best.

Jitter is how much your latency varies from moment to moment. Real-time apps like Teams and Zoom can tolerate a bit of latency, but they hate inconsistency. High jitter is what causes robotic audio, frozen video and dropped words. Our Teams test highlights jitter specifically and rates your likely call quality.

HTTP timing includes DNS and the secure (TLS) handshake, so it reads a little higher than a command-line ping. You may also be on Wi-Fi, a VPN or a corporate proxy that adds hops. If a figure looks off, run it again, as transient spikes are common. Consistently high latency or jitter to Microsoft 365 and Teams is worth investigating.

No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is stored, and there's no sign-up. The only traffic to our own servers is the speed-test payload, which simply sends data to and from you to measure your connection.

Poor speed, latency or jitter to cloud services is usually a fixable infrastructure problem. Common fixes include a business-grade leased line, SD-WAN to route traffic intelligently across multiple links, resilient backup connectivity, and round-the-clock monitoring so issues are caught early. Get in touch and we'll help you get to the bottom of it.
